Attention: Volunteers MUST go through the background check process in order to be approved to participate as a volunteer in the program. Background checks last for two years, so if you have already been approved through a Bel Air recreation committee program in the past 18 months, you do not need to re-submit for the background check at this time. If you have not submitted your information to have a background check performed within the past 18 months, you will be asked to do so before the season begins.
This is a registration process is for anyone who would like to apply for a Bel Air Terps program Board of Directors position. All volunteers must be at least 18 years old. You need to have an approved current background check in order to participate as a Board of Directors member with the program.
Each Board Member is required to attend all monthly Board of Director meetings, along with any emergency meetings that arise, participate and help out at Program events, and must work as a manager on duty at any of the events that are hosted at Tucker Field.
All Positions are a one (1) year term, with the exception of the Chairperson, and all the Vice-Chairmen positions. At the conclusion of each year, each BOD Member has to reapply for the following season.
